While at Deep Focus, I produced an annual Halloween film festival, our biggest cultural event of the year. Any employee could enter a short film for the chance to win cash prizes, fame, and glory. Running the festival involved planning the project, running a promotional campaign—producing flyers, emails, and social media—procuring funds for prizes, working with designers on graphics and trophies, assisting filmmakers with their films, and emceeing the screenings.
